Federer/Nadal- Analysis of the First Round Match!


Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer defeated their first round opponents and moved to the second round with ease and conviction. The score line was as follows:

Rafael Nadal defeated Alexander Kuznetsov :  6-4, 6-1,6-1.
Roger Federer defeated Alexander Kudryavtsev:  7-5, 6-2, 6-2.

Although not much can be differentiated between these two players based on their first round match, however there are a couple of areas where Federer might want to think upon: Unforced Errors –which were 19 more than Nadal. And on his second serve, he was able to win just 56% of points.

These are just initial days and as we will progress further in the tournament, we will get a more clear and conclusive picture as to who is playing better than the other! Whoever does will have an upper hand in the SF if they meet each other.
